Sites Set for Smithsonian Exhibit Tour


Smithsonian Exhibit Tour Hits the Road
Beginning this May, the Mississippi Humanities Council–sponsored Smithsonian Traveling Exhibit: Journey Stories, stories of immigration, migration, and transportation in America, will be on view at six locations across Mississippi. The exhibit itinerary is as follows:

Clinton May 30 to July 14, 2009 Clinton Visitors Center
Southaven July 18 to August 30, 2009 M.R. Davis Public Library
Natchez Sept. 5 to Oct. 20, 2009 Historic Natchez Foundation
McComb Oct. 24 to Dec. 8, 2009 McComb City RR Depot Museum
Hazlehurst Dec. 12 to Jan. 19, 2010 Hazlehurst Depot Museum
Long Beach Jan. 23 to March 11, 2010 Katrina Research Center at USM Library

Each local host site will present a complimenting exhibit and programming.
