Reverend Wheeler Parker: Reflections on Emmett Till’s Legacy and America (NEMCC)

As part of a collaborative effort with Delta State University, Northeast Mississippi Community College will host Reverend Wheeler Parker, cousin of Emmett Till who witnessed Till’ abduction in August 1955. This event will take place on the NEMCC campus in Boonevillle, in the Claude Wright Room of the Haney Union at 6:30PM. Rev. Parker will speak about his experiences with an memories of Emmett Till, as well as his own life and updates on the case, including Till’s legacy. This will coincide with the presentation of the Emmett Till Traveling Exhibit at Northeast Mississippi Community College. This event will be free and open to the public.
