“Back in the Day” Black History Celebration: Youth Talent Showcase Explosion

Annual Black history month programs featuring historical perspectives on the African American experience in Mississippi from slavery through Civil Rights and contemporary times. Feb. 20 will feature New Hope Christian School singers & dancers, as well as the Tougaloo College concert choir. Additionally, present on Feb. 20 will be a Hinds County election commissioner who will register those not registered to vote (especially young people.)
