DESCRIPTION:Farming Freedom: The Inspiring Story of Black Land Ownership in Mississippi \nJoin us for a screening of Farming Freedom: The Inspiring Story of Black Land Ownership in Mississippi at 2 p.m. on Sunday\, June 22\, in the Craig H. Neilsen Auditorium of the Two Mississippi Museums. Directed by Kayla Thomas\, this ninety-minute film tells the story of African American farmers in Mississippi and their struggle for land ownership after enslavement through the present day. Following the screening\, a panel will take place featuring moderator Howard Ballou\, director Kayla Thomas\, Henry Harris\, and Tamu Green of SR1 Agriculture and Food Science Department.
