Jennifer Le

Jennifer Le is a Mississippi Gulf Coast native and the daughter of Vietnamese refugees who resettled in Biloxi. Her upbringing was shaped by her family’s crab meat processing business—an enduring, community-rooted operation that has persisted through natural disasters, economic challenges, and personal loss. It stands as a testament to the resilience and perseverance of Vietnamese families who rebuilt their lives on the Coast.

Guided by a deep commitment to honor that resilience and the lived experiences of her community, Jennifer co-founded Gulf Coast Vietnamese Narratives with Emma To, an initiative dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing the stories, photographs, and cultural heritage of Vietnamese families along the Gulf Coast. Through her work, she centers visibility, healing, and pride—ensuring that the Vietnamese American legacy is recognized, celebrated, and never forgotten.
